Lost Island’, and More – TouchArcade

Lost Island’, and More – TouchArcade

Hello everyone and welcome to the week! It’s time once again to look back at the notable updates of the last seven days. A strange group of matches this week, for sure. But I did what I could to find some interesting things to look at at the start of your week. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly roundup is just here to fill you in on things you may have missed. Let’s go for that!

Royal Match, Free I chose to remove the mandatory free matching puzzles update first this week. I choose Royal Match, which gives us the usual hundred new steps. Let’s check the notes and see how horribly King Robert is going to die this time. Stables ? Oh yes, it’s actually a dangerous place if you’re careless, and no one is more careless than that stupid king. There’s a new puzzle mechanic involving something called Royal Pins that lets you break through marble. Of course, that’s good. Move forward immediately.

AFK travelFree

Far from the keyboard… travel?! Wait, it’s Arena still the best RPG to keep me busy, or is this the new trend? Well, I’ll sort that out later. This first update enables the Trial of Abyss, adds Cross-Server Friends functionality, and makes some adjustments to various elements of the game for balancing purposes. This is pretty typical of these early days, and I imagine we’ll see more of this coming once the game is properly installed. You know, if you think about it, each AFK is a kind of journey. Usually to the toilet, but it can still be a trip, especially at my age.

ANOTHER EDENFree I always loved running AFK updates with Another Eden updates, so let’s keep this tradition going as long as possible. This latest version features a new episode titled A Paradise of Imperfections, which is how I described myself when I proposed to my wife, and a new meeting with Xianhua. There is also an encounter featuring Anabel’s additional style, which was the style at the time. Nothing too exciting, but hey, the game is seven years old now. We have passed the thrilling peaks and are more or less cruising until the end of the adventure.

The June trip: hidden objects, Free Actually, it’s been a little over a week. But don’t tell anyone, okay? I put it on my list without checking carefully and it’s too late for dinner to return to it now. Either way, there’s a new Spring Celebration in the game. Earn enough points and you can get the Daring Courtship as well as the other pieces in the Alpine Spring collection. I’m not fancy enough to own such things, but maybe you are?

Foreigners, Now let’s go back to some Apple Arcade stuff. Starting with Foreigners, because I was talking about O-Town earlier with someone. And Foreigners, you know, it starts with ‘O’. Regardless, this update brings Volume V of Outlanders Chronicles, which features two new characters and six new levels. They are also available in Sandbox mode. Speaking of that mode, this update unlocks Brother Filippo, Brother Hugo, and Sister Siobhan in Sandbox. Not bad.

Jetpack Joyride 2And now let’s move on to Jetpack Joyride 2. New challenges are available in Challenge mode, as well as some new events related to Jetpack Joyride+ And Fruit Ninja Classic+, a new Knight skin, a new Jet Turbine jetpack, a Bubble Weapon power-up and a Galaxy Ship avatar. Add some bug fixes and performance improvements and that’s it for the update, but it’s enough for now I think. I’m almost tempted to give him the coveted award for his reference to the Spider-Man Pointing meme in the Jetpack Joyride+ event, but there’s a better choice this week.

Hello Kitty Island AdventureOkay, this one might also be a little over a week old, but there was an additional update last week, so I’m counting it. Cabin Improvements! You can now accommodate up to six visitors, which is nice. There are new quests and stories, spanning Merry Meadow, sending you on a hunt for mystical stones and having you meet the parents while Hello Kitty’s Mom and Dad visit the island. All this and more awaits you if you press that little update button. Do it! Unless you have automatic updates set, in which case you don’t need to worry about any of that. Just launch the game and enjoy.

Bloons TD 6$3.99 We will easily exit the Apple Arcade section with this update, available in the paid version and Apple Arcade + Bloons TD 6. Netflix too? Who knows, these people don’t believe in informative patch notes. Anyway, it’s a nice little update. A new Gentlemonkey Gadgeteer Geraldo skin, a Castle Revenge map in Advanced Maps, a new rewards system to show your appreciation for player-created content, and much more. It looks pretty solid all around.

Disney Magical KingdomsFree Alright, let’s move on to Magical Realms to see who is coming to visit this time. Oh, more stuff The sword in the stone. Actually, there’s quite an assortment here, I guess due to the arrival of season 8. Madame Mim is here as part of a new storyline from The sword in the stoneKnowsMore slippery Ralph Breaks the InternetKing Candy Wreck-It Ralph sporting a stylish racing suit, a new Lion King attraction named Scar’s Den and a parade float based on The sword in the stone. This is all so… random. All right. I’m not going to think about it too much.

Adventure to the Destiny of the Lost Island$4.99 This is the one I kept coveting UMMSotW reward for this week. The latest update of this beautiful RPG. There’s a new class in the form of the Ancient Archer, with new skill types and abilities, as well as more bow drops to use. You also get a new race with the Dwarf, who may not be the best ancient archer. You can unlock the dwarven race by forging twenty items, and if you’ve already done so, forge one more. There are five new pets, new ultra rare items, and a feature that lets you reset your skill tree up to two times, starting at level ten. There are a host of other additions and tweaks here, so check it out!

This concludes last week’s important updates. I’m sure I missed a few, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think something should be mentioned. As usual, major updates will likely receive their own news throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the blanks. Have a good week!
